How to setup your 3G connection to act like a wireless hotspot ubuntu 11.10

Hi guys,

Is it possible to create a virtual hotspot using your 3g connection and wireless card in unbuntu 11.10
as it is with connectify/virtual router in windows?

I have stumbled upon some results in google to do so using the network manager and
clicking on use hotspot option in the wireless tab but to no success...

Anyone out there that got it working?
