Dude, dont come here with those windows tendancies.

If you have spent "years" trying to get this work. I can almost guarantee that if you put your head down and follow the VERY detailed guides on setting this up, you will have no problems at all.

Just because its on linux doesn't make it difficult. Also (i could be wrong) but I think FR runs on windows

It just requires an understanding of the concepts and technologies that you're working with.
If you don't want to bother understanding the technologies, then you shouldn't be doing it.

I dont have time to "put my head down" I have to much of a busy life, and have to much work to do, setting up a WISP is not my primary work, its more of my a sideline hobby to earn a extra income, because its my passion... and to install those stupid tar.gz files, that's the only reason why I hate linux, and thank god for GUI'sssss and thx god for .rpm files, if they're available....lol I'm just going convert to skyrove then......... :) less work and problems and less f-ing issues

Yo, now I'm going to mess is all up and talk about antennas for hotspots:

Issue 1 : How can we overcome the problem due to clients with their little build in "-300dB gain" hehe just about the gain" antenna and their sitting very far away from my hotspot, how can I fix this problem, their going to get my signal, but I might not get their little signal? so their going to get pissed of!?

haha 2 : http://www.wifi-antennas.co.uk/index.php?category_id=226&target=categories whats the use of a Splitter Unit? like for example, using 2 antenna's on a AP? whats the use?
