Hi!

This forum is the only one, which has some information about E220. I am from Slovenia and I have googled like crazy and you guys are the only one with the info. Here i found E220 Vista drivers. Tnx.

And now to my newest problem.

I would like to use my E220 for ICS but have some troubles. I can connect perfectly with MTN F@st link software, but I am unable to use E220 via network connection. I guess i have to set APN and related stuff. Has anybody some idea how to do it?

I get 619 error when trying to connect.

regards

Hi what APN are you trying to connect to? Are you setting up the dial up connection using the wizard?

Well as I wrote in my first post, I'm form Slovenia (Europe) and I use local GSM/UMTS provider Mobitel.si

I have 1G bundle and i have to some use APN called "internetpro". There is also username (mobitel) and password (internet).

Now that you wrote, i have used wizard and managed to dial up, but i'am not sure which APN am I using. Have to use specific APN for my bundle, if not, that data will be charged as without bundle - much expensive.
Is there any way to check?

Hi
On the dial up box make sure that the username and password is set as you mentioned.

Here is how you change the APN:
Start
Control Panel
Phone and modems
Then select on the modems tab
select on the E220 select propeties
The select on advanced
You will see initialisation string
Then enter the following
at+cgdcont=1,,"internetpro"

Click ok. That will change the APN on the manual dial up

It should work. If is does not let me know. I ll show you another way
