I want to change my existing router (mweb wr7010) to an existing one I used to have in another home. However when I try plugging it in, the router goes into a "boot loop". This is extremely strange cause the router used to work perfectly fine in my old home.

Those "mweb" routers are a load of kak, get a Asus or TP-Link.

fr. am getting a new router. But I wanna switch to my zyxel router just for the time being.

You saying your zyxel boot loops?

If so, try reset it to default*

*if you are able to set it up yourself from scratch.

click on the reset button?

Unplug power, hold reset button, plug in power, keep holding reset for 10s and let go of reset.

But yes, as mentioned above, check power supply is the same volts and amps as on the label of the router.

Power supply should be 12V 1.5A

Tried to do the steps on 2 other routers and no luck. Zyxel router: Stays on, however wifi goes on and off every 10 - 15 seconds. Dlink- Wifi stays on, however when connected no internet + cant access mweb portal
