Started at an 8 or so....

When he shifted to this "collective" nonsense he gets the same rating as everyone else, which is a big fat 0

Always late, reading a script (although a better reader than JZ), should be addressing the nation more often....

All just "crisis management" NOT good Leadership!!

Like Normal, All talk and No Action.... The ANC can't Run a Power/Energy Utility. A National Airline, A National Railway System, A National Postal Service, and Certainly not a Country... So How the Hell can they "Control" a Virus Pandemic...?
CR needs to be far More Assertive.... Get Rid of Rival Factions within his Party, and Show just who is in charge...!
Far too many Hidden Adgendas within the "Collective"
They Talk about "very Soon" implementing their Plans.... ! Well they can't....! Cus they don't have any, and they haven't had for 26 yrs.. All they interested in , is maintaining Power , and keeping their place at the Feeding Trough.

"Everything is BAD, the government is way in over its head... this is a Soviet Socialist regime.. The ANC is trampling on my rights.. President Cyril this, Cyril that..."
.....until I contract the Virus without knowing, bring it home and dish it out to my loved ones with a side of 'eish'

Along with how MyBroadband/BusinessTech treats their Disqus users, I'd say very poorly so 1/10.

Since day 1 he has been late everytime, making rulings based on models which have reported to be unreliable. Based on data which has been available before the lock down, the virus has never been such a great risk. Even with patting themselves on the back for stopping 80 000 infections by now with a said unreliable model, we can be certain that about 40% or about 32 000 would've recovered by now. With the remaining 48 000 actively infected, from international data, 98% would be mild symptoms, meaning that 47 040 would be at little to no risk, and 960 being more severe. Of the severe bunch, only a percentage would actually pass away or need hospitalisation.

So the lock down and the economic devestation has been created to potentially save 960 people who are potentially already severly ill from still being in the hospitals.

The whole situation is being handled terribly bad and they are not transparent with people.

Can I change my vote from 1 to less than 1? Last night's performance is not what any country should expect of a leader. He was fumbling around from beginning to end, and basically had nothing to say, but took 3/4 of an hour to say it. Very poor indeed!

You don't need to go into conspiracy theories or fake news to realize that the lockdown they are implementing is ridiculous even you see this with your post contradicting itself in bold. So "many of us are ignorant" includes your self I'm guessing.

A man that apologizes and changes nothing is as bad as Trump.

Thanks for your reply...

Again I agree that some rules implemented were ridiculous but here's my take we all have our sins , we all make mistakes etc etc
You say no changes but now e-commerce and many ridiculous rules will be relaxed even though some are still disobeying restrictions but expect changes to be implemented. I understand your frustration he is not perfect. He apologized but what has been said is that he has not implemented the change: but now some restrictions will be lifted.
I don't see the logic!

Hope this helps

He started off well and with good intentions but the mistake he made was making the task team for the coronavirus out of ministers. they should have no say in this except maybe minister of health and minister of finance and then the rest of the group should have been made up by experts in virology economics and health.

The lockdown was only supposed to be used so that the government and health care fields could prepare for what is to come as you are not going to stop the virus. Taking away people's liberties and freedoms without showing reason is going to lose you the support of the people.

Sir,
While I appreciate your opinion on CR, please equally appreciate mine - CR is a t what.

Dont worry about Trump, he is 13000 Kms away.

As for the politics in this - the ANC are the majority, they deserve the blame.

Have a nice day on level 4.

Thank you for the nice day!
I'm sorry I struck a nerve... You are entitled to your opinion. So I'd like to learn from you. Tell me something how would you solve these problems? Let the DA take charge, remove lockdown complete whilst allowing more casualties etc before u answer or be sarcastic or even insult me I think that's where you headed as I don't hold a grudge or insult others but I guess in my previous statement I have come across as being harsh I do apologise and I don't have all answers. So please reiterate.

I also dislike there decision making but no one is perfect. After all who are we to judge.
U must remember that I'm not here to challenge you but to learn I do however disagree with hate speech towards others.
Most parties would never agree with ANC why? It's not because they believe his wrong or right but because they are the competition party and they need to win claim more seats, hidden agendas etc. Once in charge no one will ever be completely happy. We as humans should no this by now. It's impossible to satisfy everyone. Please stay safe you and your family

Admitting that you are wrong and doing something about it are two very different things. So far all your hero has done is praat k@k

Ur opinion acknowledged. Although it seems a bit inappropriate I'm not here to judge. You asked how did i rate him. Let me say this that no one is perfect - probably in between 5/10 remember all presidents and leaders are being tested all over the world. This is not a competition we are in a crisis but with that Being said I do respect your opinion. Stay safe you and your family!

Good day to you.

Apology accepted.

I am not a teacher, so I am not qualified to teach you. I nether offered this service, nor initiated that I was willing to do so.

I don't believe my opinion on how to solve the issues would serve any other purpose, other to begin a debate with you, which I have no desire to do.
I stand my opinion on the ANC, as is my right to do so.

Up to now, I have neither been sarcastic, nor insulted you, what makes you believe I will do so now?

Once again, while I appreciate your opinion, I am sure you can appreciate mine.

Have a great day further.
