Telkom is kinda starting to piss me off!!!!!!!

i ordered my adsl 2 months ago, Last sunday i get a call from some lady telling me the activation is complete and i can continue my self installation...

so i think to myself, great, i finally got it!!! but nooo, it still doesnt work. anyway...

i phone 0800456786 on monday to find out wots going on and they say it should be activated, but a telkom techie is "fixing a "PROBLEM" " at the exchange and it should be working in an hour or two... but nope, nothing happends...

i phone 0800456786 on tuesday and ask why the f**k its STILL not working, they say it was never activated and its sheduled to be activated on wednesday the 18th which is today...

but no, nothing happens, today i phone 10219 and they say theres no record of anything and i must phone 0800375375, so i phone that number and speak to someone who checks and tells me the status is "BUSY"...

So wot do you guys think off this? am i being unreasonable?

Friend has been waiting for 3 months and nothing's happened.

Other friend waiting 2 months and nothing happened. Telkom lady even shouted at them for calling too many times. I rate just harass them. One day they will prob charge for their helpdesk calls to drive us away.

I never had a real problem like that, basically just when I ordered they told me that it would take 30 days... the 30th day I called and they said they had no record of my application.

Called "Planning Department" and the application got stuck there. After my call to get things kinda going again, it took 25 days. (probably how long it wouldve taken).

The techie called me the afternoon saying he is coming. No real warning at all, but atleast he came.

Only thing I can say is keep calling and calling and calling.

Sounds familiar MrG.I ordered ADSL and was told 6 weeks for installation.After 2 weeks I phoned again and was told "no record of application."Phoned 1 week later and told "no record of application."Spent a fortune having my wireless connection upgraded so it actually worked decently.6 Weeks to the day of application being submitted Telkom techie phones and says he will be at my house within 1 hour to install ADSL line.At least mine was installed properly works well i.e till the first lightning strike.
