HP8600 print head

Hi clever people.

My printer is messed up but I need it for work from home.

Anybody here able to clean/ fix a print head or cartridges? Or assist in getting it fixed on the cheap? The printed page has unprinted stripes on it, usually in similar areas on the page, bit not exactly the same every time.
