After running a registry cleanup utility, the maximum download speed that I get now is only around 100kbs! (Previously >2Mbs from FTP sites)

I have tried the following, without success:

(i) Undid changes made by registry utility; (ii) removed and reinstalled Vodacom Mobile connect software; (iii) reinstalled firmware on HSDPA card.

It seems like there is a setting, file and/or trick that I am missing in getting everything back to the way that it is meant to be.

Can somebody please help?

Don't think it could have affected the speed.

Go to http://speed.vodacom.co.za/test and run the speed test.

What do you get?

I just got these numbers:

Download Speed: 1516 kbps (189.5 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 351 kbps (43.9 KB/sec transfer rate)

Not good, maybe you deleted a transmission line to the tower with your registry cleanup....

Won't you PM me your complete pedigree, including physical address, contact details, e-mail, etc.
