HSDPA phones under test

We are currently testing the Benq-Siemens EF91 (HSDPA) and the Samsung Z560 HSDPA.

Neither of them have been endorsed yet.

I'm ready to kill my K-Jam, like most 'converged' devices it's equally bad at everything, cr*p phone and slow PDA, but a stunning form factor.

Pity that Samsung's got one of the first HSDPA phones out. They make great multimedia devices but their telephony/radio engineering is still on the slightly suck side.

LOL, basically the i-Mate ToeJam then? - I was considering one of these, but the Windoze element puts me off even considering it...

You know what it's like with 'universal' devices.....Jack of all trades, master of none....

In my own case, I live with it, as I do a LOT of mails, PM's, forum posts, SMS, etc. every day, probably a few hundred per day, so the K-Jam's keyboard works very well.

Must say, Mobile 5 is much better than the previous attempts, and the range of apps is amazing.

Before the K-Jam, I carried a 6680 and a JasJar and although I've still got them, have not given up on the K-Jam yet...probably a message in there somewhere

First HSDPA phone endorsed!

I have just realised that I forgot to mention the Samsung SGH ZV50 and we have endorsed it today.

Don't even ask.....probably weeks still....
