We now have 3G and HSPDA here in Simons Town. As I already have 2 contracts, I will have to buy a cellphone to use as a modem. The F@stlink e220 is R2400.00. Is there a HSPDA cellphone cheaper than this? Maybe second hand. The only ones I know are:
Jasjam
Nokia 6110 Nav.
Motorola K3

Any more?

Take a look at these cards (2 are new and 2 are refurbished). R1250 for a new unlocked Sierra Wireless HSDPA or R699 for a (practically new?) Vodafone 3G card seem pretty reasonable. Alternatively look on the MyADSL classifieds or Bidorbuy for secondhand cards.

If these links don't work just use the ones at the bottom of this thread.

I have a Nokia N95 that does HSDPA. Well, actually it does everything.

if u can get a U700 cheap, it does HSDPA.

Im pretty worried about this phone and il tell you why:

When the big 3g rush happened everybody was looking for 3g phones and great internet speeds- now i had tested a s/e Z800- the speeds were off the wall! then i checked a special whereby one gets the Samsung Z130x2 on a standard mycall 100- i thought whoppe 2 phones! and theyre 3g!
Boy was I not impressed when i tried the internet speeds, so for me its a case of once bitten, twice shy, would rather go and get the n95 or the TyTn before i go near that phone:rolleyes:

Wait for the successor for the E220 (out already in the UK). Things will all be cheaper then.
