Hi guys, vodashop is currently running a special on the htc S710 where by you get for free on weekender everyday for R163 pm, I currently have a nokia 5200 and I need the email/messenger/qwerty keyboard functionality the htc has, I've never been on contract before and I spend about R100-R140 pm on prepaid, in this case would taking out the contract be a good idea ? what are the disadvantages on being on contract ?

Buy the handset on credit and pay it off for as long as you want. Or buy it on credit from Virgin Mobile and pay 0% interest and use whatever network u like.

But please for your own sake dont become a contract-whore like the rest of us!!

Dont allow them to rape you repeatedly... unless that’s your thing of course.

They lock you in, steal your number and act like its their property for 2years!, charge you for 60sec even you if get voicemail for 1sec, charge you for everything even checking your own voicemail or balance, call you with offers you dont want, rob you, steal from u charge u charge u till there's nothing left and refuse u proper service... but hey if thats ur thing... ;)

1 - no there is no Virgin Mobile at Vodaworld:rolleyes:
2 - Do you really want to stay with Cell C:sick: They dying slowly.
3 - Get the contract, you have more at your disposal, you getting a better phone, you get another phone after 21 months etc, you getting free minutes and cheaper call rates, its the better option.
