Huawei 3G Modem Wi-Fi Router Plus 1 Gig Data B68A-24-Each @ R999 -- good deal?

I'm looking for a router that to share 3G internet from a data sim. Currently do not have ADSL, but have an old router that did not support 3G USB devices. Want to be able to use the Internet at home on my Huawei tablet.

Is this a good deal from Makro

It comes with 1 Gig cell data for 12 months, so I won't have to use my existing data sim which is added bonus. Does the device make it worth it, is it reasonable specced.

Router alone R1448. B593 LTE was on special for R1499.

Actually appears to be R999, so this really seems like a good deal.
