My daily driver is a 2018 Honor 8x. I have yet to see Huawei launch a new device with similar specs for the same price. They have decided to concentrate all their efforts on the top of the range devices, leaving entry level devices with stupid specs at ridiculous prices. These guys probably don't realize the impact of Covid19 on customers' pockets. Bye-bye Huawei.

For those who didn't notice, except for the main bundle, the other black friday specials had their item names as specified under the t&c annexure as part of the web address. If you type in the item names and added "flash-sale" then hit enter or refresh as soon as the bundle was announced, it would load the buy page before the main page refreshed with the link. Unfortunately the big bundle special had a completely different name that was nigh impossible to guess

I have no marketing education, but I wonder about the aim of such a campaign. Is it to improve the company's image and improve sales in future, or is it to increase sales for this period? I doubt this flash sale will achieve either.

My cart crashed for the main deal in the same place

Last year I was able to get a black friday special by using my phone and two browsers, refreshing constantly waiting for it to load. Was able to add it to my cart but then the site timed out. When I went back to my cart the item was in there but showed sold out.

So this year I didn't even try. I knew it would be a disaster.
