Dear All

I have a Macbook and because it doesnt have a PC card slot I was advise by vodacom to get the Huawei data card/modem for wireless internet connection. Has anyone used the Huawei facility and if yes, does it work well?

The Huawei E220 USB modem works on the pre-Intel architecture using V2.05 of the VMC.

On the new Intel architecture, it'll work with V2.06 which is in final testing but if you urgently need it, I'm sure we can make a plan....

Thanks for your speedy response. By new intel architecture are you referring to the intel architecture used in Macbooks? When do you think the V2.06 would be ready for use?

Yes, the new Mac's using the Intel CPU.

V2.06 should be available soon, but if you want to partake in the 'beta' testing program we can make a copy available to you.
