Huawei Mate 20 Pro sees big sales in South Africa

Huawei has reported that the first week of local sales for the Mate 20 Pro exceeded the first week sales figures of its Huawei Mate 10 series by 280%.

Additionally, the Mate 20 Pro’s first-week sales have been 73% higher than those of the Huawei P20’s first week.

Read somewhere there was a problem with the green screen hue of this phone. Did you guys test this phone?

Some people have seen the problem, yes. There are two screen manufacturers for the pro, only LG screens are affected and not all of them.

Rrp is 18900 if I remember right. I could be a grand too high though.

Thanks, hopefully it will become popular despite the problem.

All will hinge on how Huawei handles people who get the faulty handsets. I'm fairly sure they'll be well taken care of based on my past experiences with Huawei.

Huawei are quiet about it, but they are quite supportive when you report the problem to them, and they are replacing handsets of affected users.

I'd rather take a new mi mix 3 for a little over half the price
Even the black shark is half the price or a Poco F1 for a third of the price

I'll take a Honor 10 thanks. Miui is childish.
EMUI ain't better. On devices like the mate 20 pro if you do a simple dpi change, the notifications and keyboard area are ignored. Text size is not the same across the board. Highly annoying.

How do you do that?

Go to about. Tap a few times on build number until developer options unlock. You'll find the setting there.
While you in there, change your animation etc speed to 0.5 from 1
