Huawei recently released its new MediaPad M5 Lite tablet, which offers premium features and design at an attractive price.

The 10.1-inch device boasts a Full HD IPS display which offers good sharpness and contrast, and is compatible with the Huawei M-Pen Lite stylus.

About R4000 would have been good value.

If you want a powerhouse tablet in this price range, you are better office with a refurb iPad, or a Surface Go tablet.

Sounds like a good alternative to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S line (older model, maybe Tab S2?) at a cheaper price. The bezels look rather large though.

At R6000 just go with a ipad.
I found apps and just overall "tablet" usage to be better on the ios than android.

Also the Kirin 659 soc is 2 years old seems to be comparable to snapdragon 625:

At R6000, its a rip off. Not worth the money at all.

I know someone with one of these. Tested it. It's pretty good actually also when taking into account the Rand to spec ratio.

Yeah I need a replacement for my now 6 year old Sony Z and this doesn't look too bad.

I imported the normal non lite 8 inch M5 from Amazon for R5500.

Nope even my dated Tab s2 is a powerhouse compared to this as it has a higher resolution AMOLED display,really no comparison at all since the screen is the main feature of any tablet.
