HUAWEI & Netgear Router Can i use these 2 ?

Hello MyBroadband ;)

i want to know from the Networking Experts i want to switch off Wireless on my HUAWEI B593 and i want to run Wireless on my NETGEAR DGN 2200v4 Router Why? i just want a Firewall. i am not sure if i have to run DMZ Zone to the Netgear from the HUAWEI Router for port forwarding but i just want to know if i can do it for the sake of knowing.

Cant you set the netgear to a static ip set it to ap mode and turn off DHCP on the netgear. Should be as simple as that

:D thanks man i will do it in the Future. do i have to turn off The HUAWEI as the DHCP Server??

When you mean you just want a firewall which device do you want to use as the firewall?

And what internet connection do you have on the Huawei, LTE?

LAN Cable to my desktop. yes i want to use the NETGEAR as the Firewall and WiFi Router.

Your router should have a WAN port.
Why not disable wireless on the Huawei, plug in to WAN port and let your Netgear handle everything?

I have the same setup at home with the same routers. (Maybe not the exact same model though)
