Some info from IC. Just had a chat with someone from IC and its the dual sim.
They have a big backlog currently. Each order has to be manually added onto incredible connection. Example with the ps4 50 orders placed. I was like 1020 order
Don't believe the consultant the same thing was said about the J7 upon arrival it was a single sim and i sent it back the next day. There is no probkem to return the device back as it is sealed.. have noticed my order hasn't been allocated to my IC dashboard yet
Back in the day when it wasn't popular.. placed my order on a Saturday, received my goods on a Tuesday
From the Redmi Note deal, they have literally one person to manually allocate the order to the IC account.
It took like 2/3 days last time

Just the difference is battery power. Remember you get much better support with an established brand, not saying Xiaomi is terrible of anything but they lack decent accessories and covers.

Order can only be placed on WeChat Wallet to qualify for the discounted price. The problem was with the Xiaomi note 3 they had to wait for stock from their supplier which took time to get and they still have a backlog i think. they want the consumer to get frustrated and cancel cause they probably sold more than what they were suppose 2
My last order took 10 days( Ordered on a Saturday and delivered the following Tuesday). which is not too bad(Jhb to Dbn).
You can do a pickup at the IC Sandton store only as they only deal with the Wechat orders
10 days is that bad. I'll keep my eyes open until another deal catches my eye
If you've one guy who is processing all the orders adding it to IC website and most probably packaging everything for the customer it isn't bad at all. If you've a backlog of 200 then you gonna have to wait

Wait 10 days for delivery vs. waiting 3 months for a deal with 2 day delivery time
Obviously waiting 10 days is the better option and it's really 50% off unlike other stores that are clearly ripping us off with their 'sales'
