There is only 1 IMEI on the box. Surely this means the phone won't read the second sim even if you flash a global ROM on?

My Xiaomi has 2x IMEI on the box

Model name of the phone that way I can do research if its possible to activate the second sim card slot

also received. 3GB RAM, no dual sim... :( Huawei VNS-L31

Same model as the one I received.

Thankfully this is for my wife. Plan A was for her to stay on Vodacom in slot 1 and stick an Afrihost enabled MTN sim in slot 2

Plan A is now for her to port to Telkom FreeMe prepaid.

What a day...been running around all day. Received mine earlier, still have to do a SIM swap.

It non being duel SIM sucks for resale, but I've never had a use for two SIMs anyway. Bring on the memory card :)

Great minds...
Also for my wife, also wanted to use the Afrihost sim, already porting her to tm prepaid (currently on tm contract at the end of its term).

Received my parcel 5 minutes ago and noticed a sticker P9-47(number of units available out of 100) before I didn't get any such sticker on my device. Very impressed with the packaging - normally to save money they do it in such a manner that the phone actually fits in but this is like 3 x the size. Love that there are three seals

Also got that, mine came today, the box was just loose in the courier bag, no packaging or protection, dodgy move.

Did everyone else also get their phones with the box loose in the courier bag?

Well, the box is supposed to protect the phone. Do you want a box to protect the box?

Yip - floating around inside the big plastic bag. FedEx are pretty careful though...

How do you guys reckon this compares to a LG G4, battery life especially and camera, general speed etc?

Has 3gb so it should be fast.
Also what is the screen like?

LG I need 1.5 charges per day, fair amount of Internet/tapatalk(not excessive use of anything) , almost zero calling, very irritating always needing to be vigilant I don't land up somewhere with a dead phone.

Phone that can last one full day is all I ask.

Surely that is a standard sticker if you wanna insure your device but will get more information with regards to the visa card if lite users are covered. If we have to register our devices to be covered will register it now then..

By the way I did come right getting the dual sim card activated after spending over 1 hour, doing lots of necessary reading and making sure I don't brick my device. now I have best of both worlds!

Don't understand why people would spend so much money on a single sim device I prefer having a standard data with one network and failsafe if my primary network goes down got another provider to use.
