Huawei Pay to launch in South Africa

Huawei has announced that it will launch its mobile payment service, Huawei Pay, in South Africa on 3 December.

The mobile payment service will be integrated with Zapper locally and supports debit and credit cards across all of South Africa's top banks.

Seems fair. Most places don't even support tap to pay yet.
every Checkers does, every PNP does,
quite a few have those ingenico machines that still work well.

those with the old machines that still use a phone line and dial out
true, those might not.

Most places seems a bit of a bold statement.
I can't recall the place I went to that didn't support tap to pay - I'm constantly reminded of it, as my card doesn't tap but it has the tap to pay logo, so each time they get it wrong first. Well, that and I've since stopped carrying my card around, using FNB pay or Garmin pay.
