I use it to wake up in the morning without waking up the whole house. Not to mention the always on HR that actually saved lives before.

The only reason I havent gone for a smart watch is battery life, the GT 2 seems pretty good on that front.
I already get notifications on my Suunto and its a feature that I really like.
