Tough economic times are leading to a growing number of parents who simply cannot afford to pay school fees.

Yeah, well, we are all struggling. A grade 10 pupil in a public school costs us R2600 a month next year. Two children in primary school comes to R2400 a month. Education is becoming expensive. As the economy worsen, school would have to be the first things we will be cutting on.

My youngest starts pre-school next year - R2.2k pm for 10 months.
