Thanks man pulling my hair out already. Fall back to 8ta tonite for me then.

The connection is very intermittent, with 50% packet loss. 2second latency as well...hmmm will keep an eye on it.

EDIT: Spoke to support. Server error and approximate ETA of 21:00.

Update: 20:30 all up and running well again.

Haven't gone through all the previous posts, but has anyone raided 25mans in WoW on this connection?
What is the latency like, was it stable ?

My international pings are around 200-250 to call of duty servers.

They mentioned that the capped packages are better for gaming than the uncapped packages (possible to do with port shaping/ priortization).

According to my experience, on uncapped I get ping 20-900ms on local and 500-1000+ms on international anywhere. It has to do something with de-prioritization of P2P/gaming.

Update on this thread.

Considering Amobia or 8ta 3G 15 gig as an alternative to Telkom (no ports at my exchange available).

I'm going to do be doing some downloading but nothing excessive (may 20 -30 gigs a month) but it is mainly going to be used for streaming to my TV & Gaming.

I know neither of these are ideal but which is my best bet assuming I have similar coverage for both
