Something happened and my data bundle got depleted in 7 minutes taking me R2000 out of bundle.
I was completely chocked as I am militant with watching my usage and never go over, well not to this amount.

I logged a call yesterday and Ockie explained what happened. I then went through the bill and the SMS notifications.

I just received a call from ****** at VC call centre, after having a chat and both explaining the situation, VC agreed to only charge me for the data bundle.

This IS what you call customer service. I was clearly not trying to pull a move and something went wrong.

Very impressed. Thank you Vodacom !!!!!!!

:D Oh my god thats funny.
I do have some high up friends but how would they help me with VC  :D

No but seriously, it wasnt like I intentionally used the data and my history on my account proves I always buy at least 2 or 3 bundles in the month.

It really was something wrong, sill not sure what happened. My 1 gig bundle went out in 6 minutes

This is what I call utter bull**** because when this happened to me they covered only half of the cost. Others I know ended up coughing up the total amount.

I swear, I dont know anyone at VC.
it wasnt like I intentionally bused it, I bought a bundle and it got depleted in 6 minutes and no notification from VC so it was not entirely my fault.

Any company charging for OOB should also have a setting not to allow OOB usage ...

Is it an Android phone? Then go to Settings/Data usage and scroll down to the apps and see which one used it. Would love to know.
