Hugging: creepy or cool when men/dads etc do it?

my son is 3.5 and i hug him and kiss him..thats my baby.nothing wrong showing family love.

Ok wait are you asking if it's creepy when 2 men hug? Heck yea :p, father/son excluded but 2 men yes creepy as hell, so is hugging the girls in my group everytime i bloody see them haha.

Do you know what's even more creepy? Rugby players hugging after some points are scored.

I think it's kinda gay.

But then again ... they do shower together.

Nothing wrong there. I'm comfortable enough with my sexuality as a man. I don't mind showering with other men or anything like that, why should I?

I'm European and we hug and kiss each other. It's a display of affection, and if you can't handle it you may be hiding something in the closet.

Unless the guy is gay, I don't mind hugging and kissing him because I know it isn't sexual in any way.

I think hugging is fine, there's nothing wrong with it between family or good friends....it's a bit more of a personal expression than a formal handshake and shows a person that you he's your friend, your dad or someone important in your life.

I just wouldn't hug my friend like I hug a girl or my girlfriend...there's a difference!

Why is there such a stigma attached to showing a guy that you appreciate being a friend or family to them? A quick hug isn't exactly fondling their bum. Affection is not the same as sexual attraction.

Hahaha..

Used to got to some church where people would be asked to give about "5 people next to you a warm christian hug"..it drove me nuts.

As for male friends hugging..not really into the whole embrace thing..its always the "gangsta" right shoulders bump kinda thing :)
