if you travel quite a bit, you may have found streaming a little tricky in a plane, train or boat.
sometimes it is more convenient to have the content saved.
Yeah, the BBC lets you do this with their app on mobile devices - I wonder why more content providers don't.

Surely the point is someone wants to pay for it, but use it in a manner that is suitable to their requirements. It's obvious it's not only the suppliers that don't get this.

Can't be sure of anything. It is exactly the same stuff that appears on torrent sites.

Huh? it tells you the quality next to the name.

torrents etc are an option, but also sometimes a hit and miss affair in terms of quality, speed etc.

so it's yo ho ho, off to piratebay i go

The Pirate bay is soooooo 2008, ezRSS and Bittorrent is the way to go.

well, the internet is soooo 1990's, but you are still using it :D

besides, you should have noticed by now, the torrent files are all "cross pollinated" between piratebay, bittorrent, isohunt etc

Downloading and storing movies and series for offline use from Netflix and Hulu makes it just as illegal as downloading them for free using a torrents.

Of course, I'm forgetting how reliable copyright infringers are about accurately identifying the quality.

That's not the point.

Ah you're choosy.
If you're traveling and so on, then maybe just sacrifice that. Otherwise if you want 1080p quality you can always import the Bluray and rip it.

I don't think it's legal. I know there are a couple of paid for services that allow you to download content. But I'm not going to post links to them.
