Strawman?

Claim was people in Canada can go to Jail for misgendering.

Fact is no.
The fact is yes. It is legally conceivable, people have gone to jail for flouting HRC rulings in the past, and the HRC policy documents would justify such a ruling in principle.

So despite everyones shrieking, the evidence is clear that the C-16 Bill does not have any means that can send you to jail for misgendering, contrary to JBP stating it was compelled speech.
You're a liar acting in bad faith trying to pretend that negative claims are stronger than positive claims.

Oh and to add, in 2 years no one. Not 1 single person has been prosecuted for misgendering. So a storm in a teacup as per usual.
Nice job trying to shift the goalposts, but no cigar.

Really?

So because I decided to rattle the echo chamber here that was predicated on an opinion that was clarified in the Sky News article that there is no data to support the claim and I rebutted a claim that you can go to jail in Canada for misgendering, this is a new low?

Really? From a guy who denies the holocaust? Really?
Another evidence troll reveals himself for what he is. :sneaky:

I don't have links but I remember a story a while back about a teacher in the US that had been fired for not referring to the student as their new preferred gender.

I missed the section where you told us what happens when you ignore punishment from those human rights people ie. the forced pronoun training, fines etc.
Or maybe you refuse to go to even attend the human rights people's trial.

Ah, I see you quoted an expert on the matter ... :sneaky:

I have a thing for red heads, but this is not it.

Those three weeks, unsurprisingly, corresponded to a low in my mental health, and the fallout is ongoing. The constant reminders of my pre-transition life also took a toll on my mental health. For weeks I had to see this name, multiple times a day – this name which caused me pain for most of my life, and which I am struggling to put behind me. .

Does this gender based ideology not just form part of the sub culture movement which has always been in existence in one form or another like - hippies, goths, bikers, trekkies, and even more so the counterculture of bohemianism, romanticism, the beat generation etc?

How does any of this even remotely impact any of you? ...or are you just that into pearl clutching and getting 'the vapours?'

Difference being you won't be arrested for 'offending' any of those... calling a trekkie a star warrior for example won't cost you your job and land you up with a criminal record :giggle:

Well done canada? Meanwhile, in the rest of the world, people still lose jobs, get fired, fined or even arrested... few examples here
