Donner, that bunker is far away lol. My daughters boyfriend is in Miami and he seems to be OK. The people I work with are spread out across palm beach county which is affected by the hurricane.

OK its coming down now with rain and the wind has picked up.

Can someone please post some wind speeds associated with the south easter in Cape Town? I want to compare the wind there to what we have here.

Many years ago I was on a 125cc off road/road bike in Cape Town and the south easter picked me and the bike up but I managed to bring it down and waited out the wind, it was dangerous. I was near the foreshore.

Strongest wind ever recorded was at Cape Agulhas - 186km/h.
