Now if it was to come with a stable Linux distro like OSX it may have been worth considering.

Wondering if I wouldn't have bought that (for a gaming up) instead of my new XPS13 (very happy with it but lack of dedicated GPU) if it was available.

Sometimes I really hate Apple but theres still nothing better out there for Developers who need a Unix based OS (i.e. most of us).

I actually prefer Linux to OSX but the crappy hardware integration, especially power management and the resulting battery life, pushes me back to overpriced Mac Pro's every time.

Well DELL has pretty good hardware support for Ubuntu but I've yet to see a DELL laptop thats not half falling apart after 18 months so I'll pass on that. Some real competition in this space would be fantastic.
