Very helpful? I haven't received any help from him lol. Also, I never see him reply in the RAIN thread.

Don't think it's his/her main scope of work but would be nice if RAIN was a little bit more proactive. I've made contact on two occasions without needing to PM RAIN rep who basically put me in contact with call center.

Ah I see. gotcha. I got a question for you. Do you have a backup in case your 5G goes to ****?

Nope. In yesterdays case there was two bars worth of 4G signal but even then internet was dead. My fallback is TELKOM 20gig FREE-ME which over and above the 20GB has a lot of value (50GB Youtube, 10GB music etc.).

In a tricky spot so ODU was installed almost three months ago. Service steadily declining from around 400Mbps with ODU install to what I mentioned above. I suspect equipment maybe. RAIN have already contacted me to test equipment. Bare in mind I've spent R6500 in three months for this product, don't want 400Mbps although it would be nice just want service to work.

Are we basically beta testing a new product? If so then surely it will get better as issues are ironed out.

Gd bless you, Pain must wish to have more clients like you.
I bought and played a lot of Day Z. This is nothing compared to the pain i've endured from that game

ive been asking rain for over a month to replace my indoor unit with an outdoor one very little response mainly one telling me to provide them with screenshots of speed test... rains own optimiser one and the system antenna gain info....all of which i supplied before Xmas ....and they would hand it up to next level support utter bullshit story. (worst customer service ive ever had from an ISP or service provider..... i do have Vumatel in my garage 10mbs for R299 pm in our complex).....i get 250-350mb/s outdoors with current 5G CPE indoors router..acceptable. The same router indoors drops to 20-30mbps... its simple replace my unit with the new standard outdoors one and all will be sorted. My rain customer number is 20000955 a rain engineer or SENIOR executive can contact me to resolve this on 0727229495 or i WILL not be paying the R1000 pm fee end January as i receive no customer service ..as i was warned that i would get crap service from rain here on this forum and no solution to my hardware problem.......all that is needed is the new outdoors CPE router supplied and the old one... ..2 months old taken back....LETS SEE IF rain CAN SORT OUT A SIMPLE SMALL LOGICAL REQUEST...but i doubt it..seems they treat everybody like crap!??
