I got capped on my 1gig account, I could only access the "iburst.co.za" website. I called the helpdesk - they gave me the run around and then contacted Shaun Green - I noticed a couple days later they added an additional 2GB to my account.

That happens quite a lot. They want you to beg for more bandwidth.

i would assume your problem is saturation at the tower level, and with everyone in your area uncapped at once theres not enough for you.

Woo .... I wish I could reach 20 gig, sadly its impossible since getting dissconnected every 10-20 mins makes it impossible!
God I hate iBurst and I would go with a adsl line, but the farking techies dont want to do their job and connect my complex with the exchange, even after I rallied 17 peeps in my complex and each and all laid complaints.

I just want a stable connection! nothing more !!!

I've had k@k comms the whole month so far. To his credit, Naill (spelling?) at the call centre has been trying his best to help me get back on track, but no joy thus far. Amazing that I've been doing fine up until now (about the same time I started using the various free proxies... hmm, I wonder...).

Funny thing is that my connection starts out fine - a download will start with a boom, and then suddenly drop to to sub 1KB levels. Makes you think..

Seems to me they also now use Telkom shaping software and or structure. The same happens to me on ADSL
