As of about the 24th I cannot see the international internet.
Anyone else has this problem?

I am capped since the 21st but normally I can refresh my IP on international DNS and can authenticate my 1942 key with international server even when I am capped. No its dead there is nothing going through. I phoned them and they dont know anything as usual.

Anyone else has this? Can you see any sites? Can you ping anything after the cap?

Regards,
Gabor

How much speed and what you can do after you are capped is in the hands of Telkom... I think you'll have to wait for the new month! Not too far to go... [}:)]

Cheers

I'm afraid Autowan has it correct. I've been capped so badly before that I could not even get to google.com without a timeout.

My connection at the moment is the same. A simple search on Google either times out or the page loads halfway and when it loads it takes ages. Telkom are to blame and it’s as simple as that. Whether they change their port settings and decide to give the public a decent service, time will tell. I just know that if I was the owner of a Multibillion Rand Company Listed on the Sock Exchange with no apparent financial hassles, I certainly wouldn’t be offering my customers this level of inferior service. It’s just not on. Telkom knows it. We know it. Who is going to make the first move?

No, that is not what I mean. If I got google half open I would be happy. The problem is that nothing ever goes through. There seems to be a DNS problem.

For the past 14 months I had adsl when I got capped international bandwidth became useless for browsing or downloads but not for authentication with international servers. Now I can't do that either. Something has changed.
