Just take a look at this

What's really irritating is that they mouth out that excuse regardless of what package you are subscribed to. Only once has the helpdesk asked what package we are on. Needless to say I was so shocked I could hardly get an answer out.

I fail to see how that post by LoneGunman is constructive in any way.

I'm as pissed of with the Sentech service as the next person and intend to cancel, but you really are taking it too far with that type of post.

It's irresponsible, immature and damaging. This is only an internet connection after all, it's not a matter of life or death.

Yes, my business would do better with a faster connection and yes, I'm very unhappy with the service, so I intend to persue a cancellation, but when it gets down to personal "dissing" of people, I'm sorry, I have to draw the line - it's negative and counterproductive.

I know how your going to reply to this, LoneGunman, that's your perogative, I just feel you've made some major Faus Paux in your "war" against Sentech !

If your going to do something, take a leaf from TheRodent's methods and actually back up your statements instead of making it personal ?

I distance myself from your sentiments on the Sentech issue.

bb-matt, one of the reasons there is a forum is for users to voice their feelings. I agree that constructive critisism is much better but let's be honest, what more can the community do. My gutt reaction probably would have been the same - if that response was given to me in my face, I would hope that Tristan had a good dentist after I made him eat his words.

Anyway, some good should come of this and I think it's time that someone in the press writes about some of the responses received from Sentech Support. I mean, the fact that they call that Broadband - not specifying that in their ads, makes you wonder.

And did you see the article on the MyADSL front page (http://www.mybroadband.co.za/news/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=217) , Dr Potgieter's comments on the issue of a whole list of Sentech customer details being emailed around, she says that "...she had no knowledge of the incident, and that she would look into the matter."

What do you expect...the only constructive critisism I can say is fire the whole lot.

Other mods: Please feel free to edit/rip apart what is deemed neccessary, I don't currently have the time. I'd like to keep the constructive comments around though.
