I thought this thread would be about someone taking mdma and then smashing their modem. Very disappointing

Have you done the following:

ZTE pdf manual for your modem said:
Hold the WPS and Power buttons simultaneously until the LED screen turns off, and then release the buttons. The device will restart automatically and restore to the factory default settings.

2nd link :p

guys...im very frustrated and you are talking **** things.why the hell mdma developres didn't fix this bug? why they didn't make updated mdma softvare,so it can be fixed.is there any chance that i find some dashboard for zte, with 900 nad 2100band settings, and then just set it to 900mhz? i haved an dashboard like that earlier, but that modem was sold and i dont know where to find that dashboard now.that was for mf622 modem.

Last I checked MDMA is free. I don't think it's fair to blame them. They can't test every device and aren't getting paid to do development.

Your only option seems to be some extensive googling to factory reset your device or purchase a new one and call it school fees for fiddling with device firmware. If you have the patience, perhaps contact ZTE directly and see if they're willing to help you.

You have already been advised to reset your device, go do that. The reset instructions were posted, failing that use Google to find reset instructions in your language.
Instruction posted was for the WiFi router. This is a USB modem stick, there is no Power nor WPS button.

This is not a bug in MDMA. This is a problem with the modem which seems to lose factory frequency presets in result of using +ZBANDI commands. MDMA is just issuing AT commands as described here: http://www.3g-modem-wiki.com/page/ZTE+AT-commands
One advice don't do it!

The way the OP was going on, it seemed like this was a really expensive item that he'd bricked. Then I realised it was just a low-end 3G USB stick. :wtf:

I know it sucks, but you live and learn.
