I guess I'm done with WebAfrica...

I've been a WebAfrica client since 2006.

Lately I've been using their 600GB + 1000GB Capped Account for R599 a month.

Been very happy with it.

a month ago I tried to order Openserve Fibre through WebAfrica, but I couldn't get it right to connect it to my existing account - might have been my fault.

Anyway, somehow I ended up duplicating the order - but WebAfrica went ahead and billed me for the second account even though the fibre was not yet active.

I had to go into my control panel and deactivate the second account - which then told me I would be billed for a second month as well before it would be cancelled.

So I sent them a support query asking why I was being billed for the second account even though the fibre was not yet active?

So today they went and cancelled ALL my accounts.

I guess I am no longer a WebAfrica customer.

Shucks... I have a pending fibre order with them... I hope this is an oversight on their part, and that they'll make right by you....

I ordered my fiber via WebAfrica which was installed on 2 June 2017 by Openserve. I immediately cancelled my ADSL only to find out that I have to give a month notice which means paying for June and July for my fiber as well as ADSL. My neighbours had (not with WebAfrica) had their ADSL cancelled immediately.

I would propose getting your fiber directly via Openserve if you are not willing to pay for ADSL as well as fiber.
