I have an NQF Level 6 certificate from the University of Stellenbosch Business School, but I would really like to enroll at UJ for my BCom Acc. The problem is I have no matric.
I have done a lot of research on the topic of Mature Age Admission, seeing as I am 24. Most Universities accept mature students above the age of 23 who have obtained an NSC (Matric) without University Exemption, but I can not find anywhere where they state that an NQF 6 is acceptable. I would assume it would be accepted as an NSC is an NQF 4, and I have an NQF 6.
I have been in contact with UJ and they did say that it is an extremely rare situation. Currently a Faculty Officer for the Dept of Economics and Finances at UJ has referred my inquiry to a Selection Admin, but they seem to take forever to get back with an answer.
Has anyone one else ever found themselves in such a situation, or know of anyone who's been through similar? All feedback would be much appreciated!
