That is a bit difficult to answer acurately because for me, it simply has always been the case. The people that used to read Huisgenoot will know ... back then they used to sometimes have a few pages advertising swimwear for guys. I was about 12 and already I built up a nice little collection that I tore out of the old magz and hid in my closet. It was not really a sexual thing. I just really thought the guys were really beautiful and I wanted to look more again later. I think the first time I thought of a guy sexually was when I developed a crush on the matric that was the leader of our christian group (not sure what you call it ... FSV). That was when I was in Std. 5 I think.

At age 16 I was 100% aware of who I am and came out to my mom on my 16th birthday ... though I was out to my sister a year or so before this.


As for kissing a girl. No ... I have never kissed a girl.
