He/She runs a business and getting +/- R50 000 a week. There is no proof since customers don't get a receipt and he never issues one even if you insist.

I don't want to go into the specifics because he might be alarmed.

I need to report him to SARS because:

1. What he/she is doing is a crime
2. Sometimes it's difficult to prove to him/her that you paid because there is no receipt
3. Not a nice person (pays his/her two security guards R2 500 per month after working 12 hours a day/night six days a week, to accommodate a day off there is a day they work 24 hrs)

How do I report him to sars, follow up on progress and still remain anonymous?

This is a slam dunk case for the Specialised Commercial Crimes Court.

Someone was evicted because that person could not prove he paid rent because receipts are not issued.

It's not easy to do this because the place is very nice, comfortable and hidden. Everyone who visits is surprised that such a place exists and keeps coming back. If he/she is reported I can only imagine SARS auctioning off the place and him being sent to jail because he/she owes them a couple of million rands in tax.

No one had a problem of him/her not issuing a receipt until disagreements started. He/She won't even give you a bank account number to deposit rent, its strictly cash.

The guy runs a successful business and employs people. Please explain exactly how he is a burden on any of us?
By not paying taxes, that's how! Use your logic, if we all avoided taxes, where would we be? As it is we are halfway there already because the SARS revenue has already decreased due to various reasons apart from tax avoidance.

Employing people and running a successful business does not give you a license to avoid paying taxes!

Wow, stop being jealous of other people's success. It is unhealthy.

Do you realise who our tax money goes to. It goes to corruption.

Yes there is corruption, and that is unacceptable. But tax money also pays for other common services, services which this tax evader is using.
