I LIKE the Fiat Multipla, Crystler PT Cruiser and the Daihatsu Move.

Now look, driving an ugly car is bad, but the one thing I will give them is their owners are creative and individual. I saw about three Vel Satii (is that the plural?) in my life and I could not stop staring at the sheer volume of ugly it pulsated into the environment. But there is lies the value of it because it did make me look and I did remember it.

JFC you people have lost it. I like batty cars and off the wall cars, but the Vel Satis is a crime against those who are graced with eye sight.

How epic would it be to drive one of those in SA though ?

Its the breaking bag car... come on !

The Pontiac was used in Breaking Bad, the Vel Satis is just bad and should be broken. They totally ruined the TV presence of Pontiac, we had legendary Trans Ams from the likes of Michael Knight and Smokey and the Bandit and then just as GM murdered Pontiac the producers of Breaking Bad decided to desecrate it with the Aztech....

I can live with the PT cruiser actually, on looks at least.

It's a plastic piece of crap otherwise.

Like a small Chrysler Voyager.

Jirre-phoken-mia mense. Nee wat - these cars are not good looking. Freaky that could get stared are most surely yes, but appealing... no I doubt that. Have a look at your latest SSangyong model line up if you like the drek shown here.

the pontiac is a majestic thing of beauty.
it will in time, eclipse the 1991 Monza CoTY as car of the millennium.

Blasphemer!

The CoTY faithful will be informed of this

I would be very, very careful driving down dark alleys if I were you

Hard to believe, but the PT Cruiser actually started out life as a cool and interesting car. It was supposed to be a 1930s hot rod you could buy brand new in 2000 - imagine it with a badass V8 and chopped top. Instead…it crept into showrooms as a front-wheel-drive, four-cylinder family hatchback. They tried to redeem it though. Some models were fitted the 2.4 turbo from the Neon SRT-4. It pushed 172kW! A lot for a non-sportscar platform, especially in the early 2000s. For reference, a Golf GTi made about 110kW at the time. I guess it was too little too late though. And didn’t do much to redeem the not very nice interior or build quality.
