Only your lungs ;)

Not really, no. A joint every now and again does very little harm actually.

In fact, the biggest study ever done RE the effect on the respiratory system, found that the damage is, while obviously not negligible, really not something to stress about if you smoke every now and again.

Besides, if that's a concern, bake a muffin. :D

If you guys really want to feel light headed, then pop a Zolpidem pill. It's like being drunk, without the numbness, vomit and hangover. Just don't get addicted to it because it may start resulting in short term memory loss.

VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY addictive.

I've seen this drug nearly decimate a very good friend of mine.

Yes, it feels pleasant, but holy **** is this something to stay away from, if you have an even slightly addictive personality.

I agree .. too much of a good thing ..

And that taking too much .. too often ..will become immune to it's efficacy..so will control..and save the warm fuzziness for special occasions

:D agreed. and a very mild one at that.

I agree. Migraines are not overcome with a couple of panados.
Pills generally don't help with my migraines - throwing up does. (and then curling into a ball and sleeping in a dark room)

lolz @ paracetamol. hehehehe.

I think I actually got a bit too dependant on Codeine. Would chow ad Adcodol everyday after getting home from work to help me relax. Started taking it a long time ago for stress headaches. Would loosen your muscles very very nicely and make you very chilled....but it gets to a point where you get addicted...and I think I almost was.

Very very bad. Been Codeine free now for about 2 months. When you stop taking them cold turkey it gives you a headache that will make you cry like a little baby.

Thnx :)

Dont think I was addicted yet...but it was definately becomming a habit...and having that kind of habit is 1 step away from being addicted. At least I have my ciggies to comfort me still. ;-)

Agreed.

When I have a migraine no medication helps. I just throw up and try to sleep in a completely dark room or the closet :p

I have never done hard drugs and don't usually take medication for colds/flu.
But last week I had a migraine and took 2 paracetamol - had the sweetest feeling - felt all warm and fuzzy in my head. So I took 2 more today - and feeling the same now.

Is this what hard drugs give you?

no, thats what beer gives you.

Don't kid yourself, they're just more vocal :D

Maybe it is possible that paracetamol has the effect you are reporting, although it is NOT known to have any psychoactive effects. From wikipedia:
Paracetamol also modulates the endogenous cannabinoid system.[56] Paracetamol is metabolized to AM404, a compound with several actions; what is most important is that it inhibits the uptake of the endogenous cannabinoid/vanilloid anandamide by neurons. Anandamide uptake would result in the activation of the main pain receptor (nociceptor) of the body, the TRPV1 (older name: vanilloid receptor). Furthermore, AM404 inhibits sodium channels, as do the anesthetics lidocaine and procaine.[57] Either of these actions by themselves has been shown to reduce pain, and are a possible mechanism for paracetamol. However, it has been demonstrated that, after blocking cannabinoid receptors with synthetic antagonists, paracetamol's analgesic effects are prevented, suggesting its pain-relieving action involves activation of the endogenous cannabinoid system.[58]
