wifi signal shouldn't affect speedtests tbh. Even the slowest type of wifi with bad signal should easily carry 500KB so it should cause a bottle neck.In any event, I got this:

It kind of sucks (in relation to my laptop's signal strength level) - A speedtest with the D-Link gets ~60 KB/s, and the laptop ~500 KB/s.
The issue is certainly that the router is too far away - I have a spare that I will use to extend the range, when I have time, and manage to find some Cat5 in this festering maze of a city.![]()
