I am not dodging anything, I never believed the OP's original story from the beginning and stated that upfront. Now the OP comes back and claims that his lawyer got him off, but does not reveal the argument that he used in his defense. He also claims that he learned something, but cannot articulate what it is.

Maybe read a bit more carefully?

Your own posts indicate that you advocate drunk driving, good luck with that.

Another huge pile of steaming horse schit...and a clear indicator that you love making schit up as you go along. If you've EVER read any of my posts in threads like these , you would have seen that I abhor drunk driving and accept no excuse for it at all...but hey ho.

Came back in here to hear if the OP is holding up fine getting futtbucked in prison, leaving disappointed he 'got off' with no real-world repercussions.

Oh well, being optimistic the law will follow it's course in this country sure sets one up for disappointment.

I wouldn't waste time asking for that kind of advice on mybb. You'll be ripped into pieces here.

Save your time and lawyer up.

You're a very brave man asking this kind of question here, where nobody ever breaks any law.

I'm trying too but you not really telling me how I lied under oath or my lawyer? Your input is valid and I might just get an better understanding... But I have surely learnt a lot out of this experience because in all honesty I was shitting myself... And yes I agree I was completely in the wrong so I don't blame anybody but myself... I'm just lucky my blood test came back very low... And that I do a lot as person for charities in my marketing job I do... So that was all aspects taken into account that didn't affect my case. I must say the only thing I'm leaving out is that my name is still on the system so at any given time I slip up like this again I'll be in big kak... Hope this gives you a little more light on what haponned here
Hi. People make mistakes, and it's great you learned from this. Life goes on, and thankfully you had the resources to defend yourself from our insane prison system.
Just remember for future that some actions can expose your whole family to risk. If for instance, you'd killed or injured someone in an accident, you'd have been liable. This would expose you and your family to huge costs etc as no insurance would pay out. Even if you had medical aid, the fact you were breaking the law and got injured might affect this protection too.
I'm glad you got a second chance, and that's what great about life.

Glad you got out easy man. And yes ignore all these holier than though jagoffs. We make mistakes and this country is not conducive to good behaviour. Learn from this and know your and your environments limits.

As dickheady as most of these replies are a criminal record takes years to get past and to me this is not a crime that deserves that punishment. So be thankful you out and clear and dont be a dumbass again.

As a first offender, even in a first world country, he would've never received any jail time.

You need to calm yourself.

You need to calm yourself.

That old chestnut...similar to "triggered" etc.

The typical defense on this forum when caught out talking schit and subsequently not having the intellect to counter appropriately.

You need to find another way of entertaining yourself, you muppet. You are way too stupid to be on the internet, let alone this forum.

I'm sorry but you should be in jail. You know you were well over the limit and driving illegally. Imagine you killed someone.

I feel your anger... But just want to let you know... My blood count was 0,8 and the legal limit is 0,5. So case got dismissed

You keep saying this like it's a done deal. I still don't understand, you blood alcohol was nearly double the limit, so why did your case get dismissed?
