Shady lawyers are around every corner in every country. He could've also just said, get the right lawyer. Its no secret that there are many lawyers that specialize in DUI. No bribes needed.

Yeah, he said R6k to make this all go away, that sure sounds to me like bribe money.

I blame the ANC though. Why? Where is the public transport in this country? Give me busses and trains that cover most metros and outskirts and I can guarantee you the DUI cases will come down. Drive me home services (FNB, insurances etc), they mostly only cover 50km outside any metro. So if you're further out, you're screwed. I've also been to venues and places where there is no Uber at 4am. What then? Walk 30km? We need public transport.

Yes, the ANC haven't provided public transport to make it easier, but it's been that way for years, and people still willingly go out drinking knowing that they must still drive. It's their own faults and theirs alone.

Hey all... Good news my case got dismissed. It was my first offense number 1, number 2 my alcohol count was 0,8 on my blood test... Giving the fact the legel limit is 0,5. Thanks for some of you guys that gave me a Lil hope... And I suppose everybody has their own opinions on this forum... But I sure as hell won't drink and drive again... So Uber is my way forward. Thanks all.... Hahaha P. S I like the no reception in the cell reply it has me in tears

My case got dismissed my blood test came back in at 0,5 sure won't get behind the wheel.. Rather gana Uber. Thanks again for the advice
