first off. Yes, why isn't he asking you to the xmas party.
2nd off. why the **** is he accepting whatever is "forced" upon him by this chick. If she (without his permission) put him down as a partner to go to whatever. Why doesn't he say "wait a minute, you never asked me this? No I won't go with you I have a girlfriend and I'd rather spend the time with her!"

2> He forwards a email to me where she has put him down without consent as her escort to the Rod Stewart concert.

Sounds dodgy to me. The biggest one of all being that YOU should be the date to the Xmas party. And yes, why is he letting himself be forced into things by this chickapea....? What kind of hold does she have over him that he cant stand up to her (this is based on the assumption that the email is legit)?
