For ~R1k

My high back chair at home has kind of borked, so I need to get a new one, imitation leather is fine, the back must not cave in, the wheels must not break off, so hopefully all metal where it counts.

In Durban, that would help too :p

I've checked out Makro and Game, nothing I fancy too much.

My gf got one from Incredible a short while back. Seems pretty decent quality: hasn't "borked" YET... Mostly chrome finishings. Full leather, with padded arm rests. Was on special for R700

Seems decent. I roll around alot on it when she's not looking, and nothing bad so far :p

odd, I buy all my chairs @ Makro and never have a problem with them, apart from normal wear & tear after a few years

I've paid R699 for my leather look high back from Game. IMO the chair itself is ok, but the wheels are the worst ever! After around 8 months the wheels are like stuck in a certain position, and what a mission to move around in it. Since I like the chair, I'm gonna keep it and find some mechanical engineer to sort out the wheels ;)

I'll check out the ones at Game again, and then IC.. main issues is the legs/wheels/body, the seat/covering can always be re-done later, long as the infrastructure is solid I'm ok.

I don't like leather so I bought material chairs from Dion, quality seems pretty decent to me and the black chair looks pretty good in my opinion. Was around R600 if I remember correctly.

I got a pretty decent chair from Waltons, nice leather thing and its very stable. Had it for a year now and the wheels still roll fine :p
