Seems the problem is that specific torrent at this time. Gian can smile again lol
Yeah because I tested thoroughly on my 200Mbps line. There is no shaping.

The speeds after 1.6TB usage in just 12days  Still same full line speed on everything.

Most people do not set their Disk Cache setting correctly in their torrent client causing disk io and ultimately speeds to tank especially on 100Mbps+ fibre lines.

The easiest solution is to use something like alldebrid.com to download your torrents. It's really cheap, has a gigantic quantity of popular torrents already cached and usually gets anything downloading at max speed in <5 seconds.

Your line speed means nothing when the whole world is trying to torrent a brand new HD rip. But with Alldebrid you're ready to go with an http download instantly. Very often they also have torrents without any active seeds cached, which is a huge feature of the service. They also have a multihost downloader thrown in which can be very useful. Jdownloader supports adding Alldebrid accounts in the settings, and you can use a browser extension too for super quick downloads.

Those prices Vat excl or incl. ?
Including, which I think is a legal requirement in SA.

I do have alldebrid actually. Find using a private torrent tracker much better though. You don't even need a seedbox although I do have that too and allows me to download from it through Cloudflare CDN. :D

2.1TB? How much porn is that? Or rather, what makes up the bulk of that data? I'm doing 400GB in a month.
My family is quite big and klaps the data. Almost all TV watching is streamed outside of sport. Our staff also use the WiFi as much as they want. Usage is almost always a little over 1TB a month.

So to manage more than that is some serious downloading, especially for one or two people.

Well not really. Using a google enterprise account that comes with unlimited google drive storage is better to have everything store on google drive. I store everything on google drive and my S10 has a shortcut to my drive so downloading a 50gb file then deleting it again means 50gb upload and 50gb download so the terrabytes can add up quickly on a fast line and the fact that google peers in JHB is nice speed and latency wise.
