I wish my pc was more like my phone

Computers, Windows - using it feels so clunky after a day with my phone. Even a simple thing like emailing a URL to someone on my pc:

PC: Copy URL > Open new tab & go to gmail > paste url
PHONE: Share to gmail

I often end up just pushbulleting the URL from firefox (pc) to my phone, then sharing that to gmail.

With all the app sharing options, pushbullet, apps that auto-update etc. it's no wonder so many people spend more time with their mobile devices. I welcome with open arms a proper Android OS for my computer. This clunky & outdated way of interacting with a pc / windows OS is getting boring.

Is.. is this a troll post?
It takes half a second to forward a URL to someone in an email.

If you're not the type of person who keeps their email open in a tab or client, firefox has a "share" button at the top right, little paper-plane icon, allowing you to share links easily to mail, facebook, twitter, tumblr, etc.

In truth, if my PC could last as long as my phone without being plugged into the wall I would be happy. :D

Just feels a lot more streamlined on my phone. I can share selected text or an image etc. with anyone (whatsapp, gmail etc.) or with another app without having to click around and copy/paste. There are just certain clunky elements to a desktop pc and specifically windows that seem quite outdated.

It's probably that simple 1 click share option that caused Margarete van Wyk. Maybe it's better to recheck before sharing... ;)

Upgrade your browser. There is a share button where you can share to Mail, OneNote, Cortana etc. in MS Edge...

Not even sure what the hell you are moaning about.
It's a smoother experience interacting with my phone vs Windows.
Windows is a bit like the mouse in a way: It works, but it's freakin' oldschool.
Remix OS looks quite cool.

Agreed, a phone is way faster. App load times, screenshot something, share it, it's a fully integrated experience that is very close to instant.
