Which is where Windows modern apps come in. It works like your phone, as backstreetboy said.
The apps, just like on your phone, just need to be enable it.
In other words, blame google for not making gmail app available for windows 10. Use a browser that supports windows 10 integration, or blame your favourite developer for not making one.
