I'd suggest listing the ups separately. Pretty sure someone will pick that up if the price is OK.

As for the rest decent (ram mobo cpu case looking good) ...dont think it's going to sell easily though. Boxes like these are tough.. Obviously still decent horsepower but don't appeal to the hardcore crowd (too old) or the old people (scared of 2nd hand).

I ended up taking my old monster rig sticking a SSD in it and giving it to my dad as a replacement for his ancient pc. I'm told email and solitaire runs very well now. :D

Hey thanx for the reply Havoc, not a bad idea listing the UPS seperately.

It is natural for some people to be scared of 2nd hand, some people know how to look after it some dont, constant bumping/transporting of the pc & excessive heat and dust build up must be a bitch to buy, to me desktops that have gone through what i mentioned are way more risky, besides that i do understand that anything could go wrong but look if it doesnt there's not much reason why the setup couldnt last another 8 years.

One more thing i would like to mention, take the CPU for instance the i5 2500K and look at this comparative test with the 3570KCPUBoss Link there's not much difference there & overclocking is still in favour of the 2500k & i calculated that CPU in the price at about R1200 which is less than half the price of the 3570K.

Im sure he appreciates that, especially if he keeps like billions of emails lol outlook running those huge pst files can slow a pc down quite a bit.

You should have dropped the price to sell the complete box.
R6000 is too much without a GPU.

Yeah and shipping this baby wouldnt be advisable, i could wrap it for war but still risky.

Do you not still have the case and monitor box?
Shipping is not that bad when packaged correctly.

Hey electric, i sold the LG LCD monitor already, i did mention on the ad that i have the original boxes and yes i have the original styrofoam & original box from my case so shipping shouldnt be too bad !

I do however have a 1 TB Western Digital Caviar Black HDD which im yet to transfer over to a portable hdd, still need to order the portable but i would like to add in the HDD for a few couple hundreds more btw it still has 2 years warranty left & i have the slip aswell.

Regards

Good deal to whoever bought it, the i5 2500K is an amazing overclocker. I've been running mine @ 4.5Ghz day in day out and the temperatures are well within safe range
