Anyone familiar with it?

I'm moving into the field and would like to know how many people out there know the product?

The backend system runs on it. I wouldn't consider myself a power user, but I do now some of it (enough to not like a total noob )

Yeah, pretty much Unix.

Used it back when I was a student many many moons ago. All I know is that it was way better than DOS

smitty is your friend. O.K. Probably not. A bit like sushi on netbsd, and about as cheerful too.
IBM vendors usually offer a Linux option, so I guess these are legacy machines.
